Software engineer & DevOps enthusiast from Cambodia. Building with Flutter, learning constantly, and quietly obsessed with making systems simpler.
I'm Phireak, someone who genuinely enjoys building things and understanding how systems work beneath the surface.
Even though I'm not currently working directly in the software industry, my curiosity for technology has never slowed down. I still spend my time building side projects, practicing, and learning whenever I can. For me, staying close to tech isn't something forced, it's just natural.
I admire people with strong skills and deep knowledge. I like learning from talented people, staying open-minded, and constantly improving little by little.
I enjoy calm environments, nature, and simple systems. I think good engineering works the same way: the simpler and more thoughtful it is, the longer it lasts.
Three human languages, a handful of programming ones. I'm strongest in Flutter and most comfortable somewhere between mobile and infrastructure.

Digital Marketer
Designed posters, shot photos and video, edited footage, and ran brand studies and brand design for the marketing team. A crash course in turning ideas into things people actually want to look at.
Digital Marketer · Procurement
Electronics retailer with multiple stores across Phnom Penh. Designed posters, shot and edited photo and video, ran TikTok content and live-streams, built marketing plans, and handled in-store decoration. Took on procurement alongside the marketing work in the second half of the role.
Assistant to H.E. the Secretary of State
Drafted reports, managed the Secretary's schedule and meetings, and handled day-to-day assistant duties. On the side: accounting, procurement, and poster and marketing work for the office's Facebook page.
Assistant to H.E. the Secretary of State
Same assistant work as before (reports, scheduling, meetings) with a heavier finance-assistant slant this time. On the side: accounting, procurement, poster design, and running multiple Facebook pages. Also helping build an application to bring Buddhist religious practice into a more modern, digital workflow.
Real projects, not placeholders. Each one solved a real problem for a real team.
Built the Flutter front-end for the General Inspectorate for National Buddhist Education of the Kingdom of Cambodia (GINBEC). It handles staff, meeting rooms, and document flow in one place. Also wired up deployment: backend web service, database, Redis for caching, and Cloudflare R2 buckets for file storage.
A food-idea app for when you stare into the fridge and feel nothing. Swipe through dishes to cook or eat, tap into recipes and how-tos for the ones you like. Born out of my own daily "what do I even want to eat?" problem.
A two-sided app for office supply businesses. Customers browse and place orders on one side; sellers run the whole back room on the other side, with order check-in, prep, stock control, and sales reports. One pipeline, two screens, less paperwork.
Cats, nature, and the views I keep going back to.
Whether it's a project, a question, or a recommendation for the best hotpot in Phnom Penh, I read everything.
